It's also possible to disassemble one of these and insert it underneath your
seat fabric. The problem is the thickness of the heater pad; you may need
to scrape off some material from your seat cushion so that there won't be
a bulge in the fabric.
Tom Huschilt (tomhu@wes.on.ca as soon as he gets his modem working) did
this to replace a broken seat heater in his '84 Coupe GT. It bulges a
tiny bit, but it works and was a lot cheaper than a factory one.
