Racing Coupe Quattros

So late last Sunday afternoon I was on Rt 90 in eastern Ohio or western PA
headed home from a rewarding weekend at Nelson Ledges Sportscar Course; and
what do I see headed the other direction but a current body style Coupe
Quattro in some type of racing livery being trailered.  I had but a quick
glimpse of te car in the late day sun, but it appeared to have a simplified
red-black-white paint scheme.

Does anyone know of these cars being raced in the US?  I would expect the
20V versions to be a good IMSA Firehawk car, and maybe SCCA Showroom Stock.
