Quattro's and towing

Has anyone had experience towing with their 4000 Quattro?  In a few
books, I have seen pictures of such a thing, and I may have occasion
to do such a thing in the future.  

If yes, how did you mount the hitch (the rear valence is pretty low)?
What class hitch?
