RE: front brake pads on 5000 turbo

Here in Canada, especially in Montreal, rotors tend to go quite
frequently. With the severe climate and more-salt-than-snow on the
roads, the rotors corrode very quickly. It is even worse for the
vented rotors which start rusting inside out. Most shops here just
replace the rotors as a matter of course.

Regarding thermal mass, I thought higher the better. Wouldn't
higher "thermal mass" means more resistant to fade?
