Power windows followup

Glen,
I pulled the individual switches out (Unplugged them) and then carefully
disassembled them. There are some little locking tangs that have to be
depressed in order to get the switch apart. I used some fine wet/dry sandpaper
to clean the contacts. A little contact cleaner sprayed on them will flush
out any residue. A new switch from the dealer is $36 so it may not be
worth your time. The window system does not use relays so the switches
carry the full current to the motor. There are circuit breakers that
handle any overloads in the system. Hope this is helpful
