I have the same problem on my 86 4000 QS with 199k km. The cardbord has
sort of been ripped off. (Probably by enthusiastic driving on rally roads)
I was planning on buying some sheet plastic and screwing it on. I didn't
even bother pricing the offical ones from Audi. I am not sure the purpose
of these things, I think the bottom one helps keep road crud out of
the rad.
