RE: Lack of horsepower below 3000 rpm

RDH wonders about power below 3 grand.

I have a 20V 200 Turbo quattro, and it is gutless as well under 3000 grand. 
Lots of boost, but still slow to get going.  I'm not sure I'd call it a
crippled turtle, though, and one person's lack of power may be another person's
preferred speed of acceleration.

Of course the weight of my "boat" has something to do with the slow response
off the line.  Remember even the space shuttle has a zero to sixty of around 6
seconds.

I will say that the necessity of keeping the rpm's up has made me much better
at heel and toeing (or, as I do it, toe and heeling).
