Injector cleaner + CIS = Death?

Errors-To: No-one@aries.east.sun.com

Well, after my last ignition timing question (blush, blush), I guess I'll take
a whack at another one.

I'm having a little stumbling problem under load at higher rpms. It's not BAD
but noticable to my sensitive feet and hands. With the AC on and passengers at
highway speed, I notice flat spots while accelerating to pass....grrr.

I just bought the car about 5-6 months ago and have performed the following
maintenance to the engine and it's accompanying systems:

Spark plugs (single electrode, not the triple...recomended by reputable shop)
Cap
Rotor
Plug wires (ouch)
Air filter (K&N)
Fuel filter (what fun)

All are Bosch components with the exception of the K&N...

I am now beginning to think that the previous owner wasn't very good about
changing the fuel filter, even tho it was dealer maintained, and perhaps I have
an injector clogging problem. Anyone agree?

If so, can I run a tank of cleaner thru without damage to the CIS or any of it's
lines (don't forget the converter)? Brands? Problems? Sucesses? Wasting my
time?

Thanx in advance...
Chris
