The tool is made by Schley and is a must for removing the sensor.
I am sure you can find it in somewhere in Atlanta. Try some of the
specialty VW/Audi/Porsche parts places. Try "BMVW" in Palmetto, GA
(404)964-1376, if they don't have it they should be able to tell you
where to find one. If you don't mind mail ordering one, most of the
VW/Audi/Porsche performance specialty shops sell it (Techtonics,
New Dimensions, Automotion, etc.). These outfits all advertise in the
_European Car_ magazine. Use plenty of Liquid Wrench and soak the
sensor threads for a while before attempting to remove it. Put some
anti-seize compound on the threads of the new sensor before installing,
and make sure you don't get any of the anti-seize compound into the
sensor slits.

Although Leistritz does not make one specifically for the Audi Coupe and
4000, it is a simple matter to have a competent muffler shop modify one
to fit. I have a Leistritz on my 4000, and the only thing that needs to
be changed are to weld new hanger ears to the sides, and weld on a new
inlet pipe (different curvature). If your car also has a center muffler
you can pretty much discard it and bypass it with a straight pipe.
I have had the Leistritz for almost 3 years now with good results. My
previous muffler was an Ansa performance system which rusted through
very quickly. If the exhaust you're buying from Eurorace is the
Ansa I recommend that you return it. Ansa mufflers do not last long,
and they are loud without improving the performance.
