Re: Heat/AC/Fresh Air Flap

I'm not sure I completely clarified the "A/C not running". On cold damp
days, like a slow drizzle outside, the inside of the car tends to fog up
unless I turn the temperature set point on the controller to a temperature
that is lower than the outside temperature, which then activates the A/C
compressor.
Yes, I can get the A/C to run, but I would prefer HEAT in the car to
keep the passengers ( myself included ) comfortable. Perhaps there is
something wrong with my system, that I don't know about, and the system
is designed correctly, but mine just has a problem.
(On our three previous Japanese cars, you could set the temperature with
the slide control, and then just push the "A/C" button to "add" A/C to the
overall picture.)
I have the DELCO control unit, it has fan speed override controls marked
"low" and "high", from the late ( June '86 ) 1986 model production.
Can someone with a similar climate control system tell me if I have a
problem with mine, or is this how it really works.
