Yes, it is truly amazing that someone would ask this question.  
Because of this supposed problem Audi's reputation was hurt and 
resale values of these cars dropped considerably.  However, this 
may not be a bad thing to some of us.  Now, some of us poorer folk
can afford a nice German engineered car w/o the German engineered
price.  And so what if the car occassionally autoaccelerates out of
garage, through the garage door, and over the neighbors kids playing
in the driveway...we all could use a little excitement :-O
