Wish me luck...

Last night I smashed up my '83 5000S. I was trying to change lanes, the guy
in the other lane didn't let me in and while I was looking over my shoulder
I smashed into the guy in front of me.
Sigh.
It's a borderline write-off but I'm hoping and praying that the insurance
company doesn't write it off (luckily there's no engine block damage -
just extensive frontal damage + oil filter and alternator)... Even though
I've only had my baby for a month I've grown really fond of it (especially
after we took her down to the mountain last week).
Please, no one else out there make this stupid mistake. I feel like I've
killed a close friend or something.
