My 83 scirocco came with P6.  Good tires except they wear out fast.  From
there I switched to Falken FK06U (or something like that).  I found them
to be as good as P6 with longer wear and also cheaper.   Note that
I don't do serious driving(auto cross, etc) with my car.  Most of my driving 
is
freeway and every one in a while I get a little carried away getting on and
off of them!


Anyways I am changing my tires on the 1988, 90 (from all season Yoko)
and will be switching to Falkens.  Thru discount tires (mail order) I can
get these tires delivered for $225 which I think is a bargain.


I had similar tires installed on my wifes 535 last month and so far I don't 
see
much difference between this and  the P600 that used to be there...
