I was getting the intermittent "check engine" light...coupled with a dead
temperature gage and an overheat warning, I was a little nervous to say the
least. So, I got the failure code from the computer and it said "poor
knock sensor connection or bad sensor." Without checking the sensor, I
just ordered a new one. A little checking would have shown it was loose
(ie. not bolted to the engine) and I could have saved some $$$...but oh
well, at least I know it's NOT the knock sensor. :-)
