RE: Oil Change Intervals

I started using Mobil-1 when my car had 45K miles (86 5000CSTQ). My change
interval has been 7K-10K miles. I now have 251K miles without a rebuild.  I am
starting to see some oil consumption now, maybe a quart in 2K+ miles. I think
it's valve seals or the turbo bearing. In any event, the engine runs fine and
has all the reliability, power and smoothness it always had.  I have no plans
to do a rebuild.

I can't say my long engine life was due to Mobil-1, but it certainly didn't
hurt.
