enough about syn-oil

a bazillion times on rec.autos.gibberish .  This along with Slick50
questions cause more discussions and the answer is always the same
- Syn-oils work best for some people and you won't know till you 
try it.  If money is a major issue in the decision (and you own an
 AUDI/VW quantum?), then why bother.  There are no miracles for 
injured engines,  and driving style should dictate required oil changes.

BTW, I am a synthetic user, for both turbo and non-turbo - I like the peace
of mind, and I'll pay for it.
