Last night, I did what I have been meaning to do for some time now.  I wired
my radar detector to the sunroof wiring harness.  I connected it to the chassis
ground by the sunroof motor.  There was a spare spade connector up there
which was hot all the time (I believe).  It was a red wire with black stripe.
I haven't looked in the Bently yet to see what I actually connected to, but
it works like a champ.  Since I put the detector in the glovebox when not
in use (or take it with me when parked in high risk areas), I wan't concerned
about it being hot all of the time.
