whoa there!  you have to realise that the V8 water pump and
timing belt bear no resemblence to the 5 banger..  the V8 timing
belt costs over $100 and it is much fatter.. this belt drives
the cooling fan and a couple of other engine accessories too.

it takes almost 5 hours labor to replace the timing belt, which i
think is also more than that of a 5000/100.  this is from the
official "book" and is not something that somebody dreamt up.
