I'm not real clear on this but here goes..... I believe its called
unmetered air, The cars computer is very particular about metering
the air in the engine.
One time when I changed my oil I went to start the car to get the
oil circulated a bit and forgot to put the oil cap back on.
The car wouldn't run. It would kinda start and then immediately die.
Put the oil cap back on and it started immediately.......
I'm sure there are some other people on the net who are much more
knowledgable than I on this subject, maybe they'll post a better
reply :-)
