I don't really know how you can clean out the hole, except to screw the
bolt in and out a couple of times and clean it each time.
Wander down to your nearby convenient gun shop and buy a bore-cleaning
brush (can be had in nylon -- too weak; stainless steel -- too strong; and
brass -- just right), available in a wide variety of calibers. For example,
the idle air adjust screw on the UrQ (and I would presume most of the 5-
bangers) is a 9mm (aka .357Magnum/.38Special) on the top end with the rub-
ber O-ring, and 7.62mm (aka .30 caliber) down in the threads area. [Ac-
tually, I think straight 7mm (aka .270/.284 caliber) would be a better fit
for those threads]. Spinning the brush in and out several times (a rever-
sible electric drill works great for this) will quickly clean out incredi-
ble amounts of accumulated engine grundge. The brushes are readily avail-
able in caliber from .22 to about .50 (caliber == inch, to a first-order
approximation), with .14 to .70 (shotguns) available if you look harder.
