Well, I think the display is really just a 0-1 VDC bar graph display.
It is calibrated in f:a ration numbers like 12:1, 14.7:1 and 17:1, or
something similar. I would believe that the absolute accuracy is not
the best, but you can certainly see any relative changes. On decel the
guase goes full low (fuel shutoff) and on boost the system goes open-loop
and the guage reads a nice steady reading over 14:7 (rich), just as it
should. I fell that it is reliably indication the relative leaness or
richness very nicely, though certainly not with the accuracy of an
exhaust gas analyzer, but then, it's hard to drive around trailering
an analyzer.....
