tire wear up front is perfectly normal.. i run rears at around 40-41.. a
little less and i can feel the rears being a little unstable in fast
sweepers.

it cools worse, which is why they warp. audi wanted to stick with 15 inch
wheels but wanted increased disc area so this was the way to do it. the
10.9 inch discs from the 5000tq aren't exactly wimpy for the car if you
actually do the "downgrade". the original lexus ls400 only had 10.1 inch
discs up front.

you'll have to replace the entire front suspension, the strut, the spring,
the hub etc etc.
