Might need new Bosch tri-electrode plugs. Previous owner might have put
some other plugs in. The Audi specified Bosch tri-electrode plugs are best
under boost conditions and for providing a smooth idle.

Possibly one or more wheel speed sensor(s) is bad or misaligned. We had
discussions here not too long ago about checking and correcting this.
Bentley is helpful if you have it.

These are vacuum operated. There are vacuum actuators at each of the
center and rear diffs to which a vacuum hose is connected. Check hose
condition/connections. Its normal for the lights to take a while to shut
off when the locks are disengaged, but engagement should be pretty quick.
Otherwise you may have low vacuum or bad actuators. I've found that moving
the car slowly will help disengage the diffs faster.
