I can't specifically say, but rumours of VW and Audi pulling out
of the US market fly around constantly. Every time sales dip for
a while, someone hints that they may pull out.

I think it is unlikely. VW/Audi has a fairly strong commitment to
the US market, and it would take a lot to make it abandon that.
