Re: Hydraulic pumps



I rebuilt my ZF hydraulic pump with the factory rebuild kit.  I was VERY
careful and followed the Bently manual AND the official Audi service bulletin
on this subject. I used a nice torque wrench and kept everything super clean.

It didn't work.  Save the money and just get a rebuilt pump.  Then flush the
hydraulic fluid once a year and clean the filter in the reservoir.  Your
problems should dissappear forever..
