Re: important note about boge shocks availability

mike, the shocks are not directly imported by RD. it is boge that is hung
up, not RD. incidentally, when i ordered the shocks in august, it wasn't
available anywhere else either except for one place who wanted the sky for
them. so it was either back order them or pay through the roof.. when i
ordered them in august i was told very specifically that they would not
arrive until the first week of october, so i really don't have much reason
to doubt their story at this point. also, the other mail order houses
indicated 6-8 weeks for a set to be ordered. so with that wait being
somewhat inevitable, i settled on the vendor who would sell them cheapest.

in any case, this is my second set of shocks that i bought from RD. the
first set of turbo gas arrived very promptly and at that time there were
some questions as to whether they were the right ones. RD were the only
people who guaranteed that they were the right ones and even said that
they would get boge to compensate me, take them back, etc if they
weren't..

i guess a really good way to find out for sure is to call
around and see if anyone has boge pro gas shocks in stock
for the 5000/100/200 series cars..

at this point i am giving them the full benefit of the doubt.
