Although the 20V is not strong at the low end it does rev out strongly.
I would definitely give the nod to the V6 for 0-30 times, but 0-60 may
be more of a race. Recalling some numbers from Audi promotional
glossies (these numbers may be Audily-optimistic, but the cheat factor
shoudl be about the same for both sets), all for 5-speeds:

I5 20valve
1991 Audi 90 Quattro 0-60 in 8.1 (Coupe Quattro quoted as same time)

V6
1994 Audi 90 CS Quattro 0-60 in 8.9
1994 Audi 90 S 0-60 in 8.2
The 1995 Audi Sport 90 Quattro has the extra weight of Quattro, but
not the extra weight of the C luxos, so let us assume it falls between
these two (and that the 1995 gear and axle ratios are unchanged) and
give it a time of 8.6.

On these numbers, the 20-valve is a little faster 0-60.

The 1991 90 Quattro and Coupe Quattro both came with 7Jx15 wheels and
205/60 tyres (except for some New England dealers who put wimpy
Winter package wheels on the 90 Quattro).

Does the Sport 90 have any special suspension mods??
I thought the "Sport" moniker was more marketing than anything else.

I agree. I don't think there is a lot of difference in ultimate
cornering speeds, but the newer suspension is a lot more supple
and swallows up the mid-corner irregularities better.
