Or call the gov't:

Auto Safety Hotline (recalls, crash test results, etc.)
Or call Audi. Get your car registered with them, with you as the owner,
and they are required to send you recall notices.
Hmm. I remembered to do this with my Dodge. I suppose I'd better call VW
about the Syncro. I seem to remember sending a card I found with the
original owner's manuals in the glove box, but I don't recall getting
anything from VW. I wonder if they really know I am here.
