Those are two different listings, diesel & turbo diesel.  The turbo
application is a larger diameter (same diameter as the outlet on the GLI
cat and the intermediate pipe that ends in front of the rear wheels) and
connects to the intermediate pipe.  I don't have the oem pn handy but 85
turbodiesel is the application.  I'd price it at the dealer first because
their quality is excellent & you never know what arbitrary price they've
assigned.  eg. 84 rabbit muffler is cheap cheap.
