I had good luck with the AVS Ultras, I think they were, that were on my
'84 4000Q when I bought it. Better handling vs the P500s, but not as good
in the snow, though acceptable on a Q. They were good tires, but I would
not buy Yoks myself, made in Japan you know..... I'd rather send my $$$ to
Germany, Italy or keep them here in the US when given an option.

I have, however, purchased Yok racing tires, as they are the defacto
standard if you want to be competetive in SCCA Solo II in smaller,
lighter Stock Class cars, no real options were available at the time.
