The "Ur" is some Germa expression which is sometimes used in
connection with "old" things. For example "Grossvater" in German means
"Grandfather", "Urgrossvater" means "Great grandfather",
"Ururgrossvater" ... get it?
In the Audi lingo it seems to stand for "The Original" Quattro which
hit the streets in the early '80s (dunno the exact year). Reading
through a local Audi magazine it is also referred to as the Audi S1.
