Does the check circuit detect a short in the headlight element? Mine
worked when I blew an element. The check circuit only lit when on low
beam since both high beams worked. Amazing this electronic stuff.
Just a pain to trace all the wiring. hmph!
BTW, I purchased a cheapo copy of the PIAA 1000 driving lights. They
were only $35 at a local discount K-mart style store. 55W H-3's.
Brighter than my low beams and definitely lights up the road. I hope
they hold up.
