Pentosin 7.1 vs. 11 ?

There was some discussion a while back of which hydraulic fluid to use - 7.1
(green cap) or 11 (red cap).  

If I recall correctly, the stuff Audi sells comes with a red cap, and is
presumably Pentosin 11.  Most of the oil available on the aftermarket is
Pentosin 7.1 green cap, and I've been using this stuff since I replaced my
rack about a year and a half ago (hasn't leaked a drop since then!).  Does
anyone remember the difference?  Does anyone know if 7.1 is OK?  It doesn't
get that cold in here (0 F is about the worst), and the car is an '86.  Does
it matter?
