I don't know what is difference between 85 4000S and 86 4000sq, but, I've
 got mine(85 4000s, 4cyl) at Speedy.  I think, I paid about $300 good 4 years
ago, and it has lifetime warranty as long as you keep the car, which most of 
audi owners do anyway.  I'v changed mufflers at least 4 times, and it did not
cost me a penny.  However, pipes are not covered, but, I did not have to 
replace pipes when my mufflers go wrong, which has two of them.
