Well, I didn't see any real improvements in gas mileage or HP,
but I found them to make the car run much smoother, especially
at idle. Some of the strange stumbles and idle wobbles I used
to have disappeared.
I don't know that I'd recommend replacing a perfectly good
set of wires with them. My original wires had about 75K on
them, and had a few symptoms of old age. Since I had decided
to replace them anyway, I went with the Blue Ignitors.
I've heard TERRIBLE things about the Jacobs power-coil wires.
They claim 800 HP gains, triple your gas mileage, and make your
breakfast for you, too. I have heard that they can fry ignition
systems instead.
Blue Ignitors don't make these claims. They are just good, solid
wires, slightly thicker than stock with a teflon/neoprene wrap
that they guarantee against cracking and leaking forever.
If you've ever seen what 5 years in an engine does to rubber,
you'll understand.
They look cool, too!
