<if you unplug the switch in the rad., and the fan stops, the switch is bad
The fan does stop when I unplug the switch, but I felt that this is the case
because the switch must complete the circuit for the fan to run. As I
mentioned before, I already replaced the switch with another one that I
"think" is good. The only problem is, that I replaced my TWO PIN switch with
a THREE PIN switch. I assume this (3 pin) is from a car with a multi-speed
fan, but shouldn't the fan stop running?? Will the 3 pin work?
conclusion:
1. fan stops when switch is unplugged
2. another relay does not solve the problem
3. 2 pin switch replaced with 3 pin(only one avail. at 10:00pm)
3 pin switch does NOT solve the problem
4. Owner is confused by German fan's "will to live"
Thanks,
