Hi everyone,

I have been gone for along time, just spent 16 days in Loveland,
Colarado on a rush project that had to be finished by the
end of the year. My original trip was supposed to be a week,
but the site installation was a "can of worms", and my knowledge
of control systems for stationary gas turbine ( 100,000
horsepower ) engines has been enhanced considerably.

I have just gone through over 400 mail messages that collected,
had'nt realized how fast it would collect....

First:

There is a way to ELECTRONICALLY modify the signal from
the pressure transducer module to the CPU, without
affecting the pressure guage signal. It involves cutting some
traces, but it is relatively easy. Add a low leakage zener
diode, two resistors, and you are in business.

You do need a stiffer waste-gate spring, ( or a few .125"thick
1.25" I.D. spacer washers ).

Second:

Those triple electrode plugs MAKE A DIFFERENCE ***

Third:

All data books from battery manufacturers recommend 2.34 volts
per cell, i.e. 14 volts to charge a lead acid battery ( this
number is temperature dependant, and is at 25 C , goes UP at
lower temps ). My AUDI gives only 13.76 volts, hence two
common (* for AUDI owners ) effects.
   1. Poor lights,
   2. Under-charged batteries, more prone to a "lead-acid"
problem known as " Sulfation ".

the first can be helped by a relay, the second by monthly
boosts when the car has not had any long runs for a while.

Gald to be back, I missed the group
