If memory serves me well, Autobahn is the same as Varta. This does
not say anything, as Varta is not produced by them in NA, but by some
independent manufacturer. I remember reading about this when one their
plants in Winnipeg, Canada shut down a couple of years ago, and they
consolidated production in Torornto. They also produced a whole lot
of other line of batteries.
My other experinece is with Canadian Tire batteries, they never lasted
more than two years, and all of them leaked acid everywhere. The one
with the life time guarantie was replaced 4 times in 5 years.
Luckily that was in my Fiat. I would never touch another one!
