Peter,

Please try to keep your line width to 80 chars or less.
That said...

There is a lot of info on Repco pads on the VW archive server.
In summary, they work great and last long, but are very slow to
respond when cold.  If you don't do a lot of aggressive driving,
consider a Repco semimetallic which I think still is low-dust
but performs more consistently.
