I was unsatisfied with the cruise control on my '83 TQC when I 
first got it.  The speed fluctuation was not very much, but it 
was noticable to me.  I lubed the speedo cable and checked every-
thing out, but I found nothing wrong.  The car originally had the 
wrong sized tires (205/50 15 Gatorbacks), but when I replaced them 
with 205/60 15 Comp TA HR4s the cruise control now is much smoother.

Go figure!
