Concurr with fuel filter intervals... however, regarding the cap and rotor
I have found that the cleaning of the inside of the cap and rotor and the
shaft of the distributor, every once a month or so, definitely helps under
high load conditions, i.e. hi boost or full throttle. The high humidity in
my area combined with the hi output of the coil makes the turbo cars
especially, respond to this treatment. Currently driving a 285hp 5000TQ, and
found that the modifications exaserbated any of the fuel/ignition
idiosincrisies of the Audis.
