Not sure what issue of VW/Audi it was, but I just got it and it's my
first issue. The article was just a single B&W picture and caption,
likely a follow-up to the original article you mention. YES! I would be
VERY interested in any info on purchasing this or any other
high-performance alternative to the stock ur-Q exhaust manifold, bracing,
etc. The manifold that came with the replacement "donor" '83 ur-Q engine
is cracked, and will require rewelding at a minimum. I don't want to
spend big $$$ on welding, porting, extrude-hone, etc. on an inferior
piece and one that might just crack again. I really would like to find a
tubular, near-equal-length, high-performance piece.....
