Maybe the scheduled service items are different for the newer models,
but here is what was done at each service for my 1991 Coupe Quattro
(free scheduled services for 3years/50000miles). I do about 24000
miles per year.


Scheduled Service before 50000 miles:
(all items part of scheduled maintenance eexcept as noted).


 7500  Change oil & replace filter          $  0-


15000  Change oil & replace filter          $  0-
       Lubricate sunroof
       Check engine readouts
       General mechanical check
       Replace wiper blades    } replaced at my request


22500  Change oil                           $  0-


30000  Change oil & replace filter          $  0-
       Replace air cleaner filter
       Replace spark plugs
       Lubricate sunroof
       Check engine readouts
       General mechanical check


37500  Change oil                           $  0-


45000  Change oil & replace filter          $  0-
       Replace brake fluid
       Lubricate sunroof
       Check engine readouts
       General mechanical check
       Replace spark plugs     }
       Replace alternator belt } replaced at my request
       Replace battery         }

Note that the 60000 service (which included oil filter, air filter,
fuel filter, spark plugs and oxygen sensor) only came to $460-. This,
in comparison to other cars in the same market segment, seems not
very big bucks.

Next up is the 75000 service, which I expect to be low cost unless I
decide to have the timing belt replaced (should I, or should I wait
for 90000???).
