Since you now get VW/Audi car, much of this info is listed in the magazine,
but I will also list it here since others might be interested. There was a
picture of the TQC inconel exhaust manifold from Dialynx in the Nov 94 issue
on page 41. All 5 exhaust port flanges are seperate, the turbo flange is
mounted behind the #2 exhaust port. The wastgate flange comes out behind #5
as usual. From the picture it looks as though the flanges are welded on. The
manifold itself is very smooth and highly polished with a mirror like
surface. It doesn't look nearly as pieced together as the Haywards and Scott
manifold. Not sure how it is fabricated. It looks almost like a piece of
art, if you can appreciate crafted/machined metal work. The price list I
have received from them only says POA, so I am not sure what these are going
for.

The original H & S manifold was designed around a 1 piece flange which
incorporated all 5 exhaust ports. As the article states, after only 500
miles the owner started to notice an exhaust leak from the manifold. After
removal, it was foundthat 2 of the exhaust gaskets had started to leak. This
manifold has been updated by Alan White at Autotechnik in Southhampton UK so
that each exhaust port has its own flange instead of 1 plate for the entire
manifold. This design allows the manifold to expand/contract as needed. This
design now seems to be working.

Hope this was of interest.
