I had the "load reduction relay" make similar symtoms of cutting power to my
radio when I used turn signals or the Hi beam switch.  You may want to check
this (assuming the 100's uses it), by replacing it with another relay in you
box (it's a standard 4 prong, ie. hi beam) and see if this cures the problem.
 THe LRR is not part of the cruise control on my 87 5ktq, but it could be on
your app.  Good luck with the gremlins...
