This is probably a silly question, but just to be sure I'll ask: Have you
removed the spray nozzles and cleaned them? I've had the same symptoms occur
*many* times on my Quantum, and every time it was fixed when I removed the spray
nozzles from the hood (they snap out easily), cleaned them with hot soapy water
and a straight pin, and blew through them to verify that they were clean. I
think I usually end up doing this at least once each winter, due to all the road
crud that gets on the hood. I also clean them every time I wax the car anyway,
since I remove them (and the door handles, antenna collar, license plate, etc.)
to do the waxing.
And I really don't understand the point of the check valve. I don't have one,
and it takes all of a second, at most, before the juice hits the glass. I'm
young; I can spare the time. :)
