the 100Q sold in europe comes with far less standard equipment than those
sold here.  consequently it weighs a lot less for those who can forgo the
crap.  over here in US trim, the 100Q 2.8 auto is painfully underpowered
and will easily be eaten alive by just about anything. 

just took my v8 on a trip to the very northwestern tip of the continental
US.. among the most challenging roads i've ever driven on.  hilly,
extremely windy and narrow.  i was more impressed with the car here than
the time i took it to canada and drove in excess of 100..
