I've been curious about this for a while ... does anyone know how easily (if
at all) this can be installed on a non-turbo 5000? There's a nearby salvage
yard that has one of these they're willing to sell cheaply, along with the
intake and exhaust manifolds, etc.
Oh yeah? How much? and where?
NO, DON'T TELL ME, I can't afford it / it ain't broke don't fix it / the
mortgage needs paying / ...
Seriously though, it will be a plumbing/wiring nightmare (you will need
a different computer -- you want one for the 20V engine characteristics,
and I strongly doubt the 10V family computer will properly operate the
20V engine...) You'll prolly hafta redo the entire air intake system,
which will probably collide with all the brakes/steering/cooling crap
currently sitting on the other side of the engine . . .
