from 200cc motorcyles, to 302ci V8's to my 87 4000S, 1.8L. They work
better than the stock elements and last forever. They are washable, and
should only be cleaned every 50k miles. There is nothing better.
As for the exhaust, good luck getting some hi-po stuff to fit. I have
yet to find a good hp exhaust sys. for my 4000. It has turned into a
sort of cut-n-paste frenzy. I removed the rear muffler, replaced it with
straight pipe. It was a little rough at first, but after adjusting the
CO mixture, it has considerably more power. A bit loud though. I like
it but others may not.
