could be a function of weight and/or exhaust...  I know I noticed this lack
of response and 4k "on cam" in a friends passat, but if you drive the
corrado, don't seem to notice.  I would check out a cam upgrade, maybe even a
Chip might bring back the bottom.  The vr6 inherently is not the best
engineering design I've ever seen (the Dohc designations on the valve covers
as another interpretation as to what is this???) .  remember why it was
built, to put a six where a four was designed.
